Task Seating

During 2019 we set out designing and developing a collection of task seating products. Task chairs to this day are functional, easy to operate pieces of furniture that provide comfort throughout the day to a variety of body types.

Little did we know in March 2020 we would be struck with a global pandemic. Lockdowns meant business had to stop and our new task chair collection didn’t get the year it deserved. Therefore, our focus turned to 2021. Our first full year of manufacturing the new collection.

We are extremely proud to announce that over 2021 we have manufactured and dispatched 12,224 task chairs.

Using lean manufacturing techniques we have set up our task chair production line to reduce non-value added time to a minimum. This has resulted in one task chair off the production line every 80 seconds.

The design simplicity of Beta incorporates a posture design and seat comfort usually associated with higher value task chairs. Our Beta’s, easily adjustable high back mesh chair comes with a contoured seat and integral lumbar support. This lightweight, slim line task chair with its breathable mesh for comfort and wellbeing is a design that fits in with all workplaces. The synchronous mechanism at the heart of the chair has been designed to be simple and intuitive, yet still achieve total comfort and all-round support.
